Improving maternal and neonatal health outcomes in low- and middle-income countries depends on access to technologies that are effective, affordable, and easy to use.

The Newborn and Maternal Technology Landscape (NMTL) provides an open-access, interactive database of over 130 newborn and maternal health technologies—from diagnostics and monitoring tools to treatment devices—developed by more than 60 organizations worldwide.

Originally published as a static PDF, the NMTL has been transformed into a dynamic, searchable platform powered by AirTable. This new interface allows users to explore and compare technologies by product category, features, and stage of product maturity. The database promotes transparency, identifies gaps in innovation, and aligns global investment and procurement decisions to accelerate progress toward improved maternal and newborn outcomes.
